DAVID FRANKLIN⁷ MAXFIELD was born at Shawano County, Wisconsin, on 25 November 1863 a son of Stephen Maxfield and his wife Lovica Polk. He died at Rochelle, Ogle County, Illinois, on 18 March 1933. He married first at Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, on 3 November 1883 MARY E. CONNELLY. She was born at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, before 1874 and died at Chicago on 5 July 1939. He married second about 1896/7 GENEVIEVE WILEY. She was born at Compton, Lee County, Illinois on 3 April 1874 and died at Belvidere, Boone County, Illinois, on 23 June 1945.

David Franklin Maxfield and his second wife Genevieve Wiley had the following child:
