Arthur and Gracwe had been married ten years, she had two children, both living.
The 1910 census (599:2:64A) found the family of the same coimposition at the same address. The 1920 Census (712:4A) reported Arthur O. Maxfield (age 54) and wife Grace J. (55) at 160 Dartmouth Street, Lowell, living with son Rufus and his family. Arthur was a clerk in the post office. Arthur, Grace, and all their parents were born in Massachusetts. The 1930 census reported Arthur and Grace, both age 65, at 160 Dartmouth Street, Lowell.
