CLARENCE HARLIE8 MAXFIELD was born at Plainfield, Washington County, Vermont, on 1 November 1890, a son of Henry Maxfield and his wife Gertrude Brown. He died on May 1978. He married at Waterboro, York County, Maine, on 21 September 1912 ELIZABETH F. CARPENTER. She was born at Waterboro about 1892.

Clarence Maxfield and his wife Elizabeth Carpenter had the following child:
