WALTER AMOS8 MAXFIELD was born at Newport, Orleans County, Vermont, on 20 January 1889 a son of Olin Maxfield and his wife Emma Brown. He died at the Town of Newport, Orleans County, on 13 January 1963. He married at Newport on 14 August 1912 PAULINE E. REIMAN. She was born at Germany about 1892.

Walter Maxfield and his wife Pauline Reiman had the following adopted child:

  1. MILDRED E.9 MAXFIELD b. at Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire, abt 1910; adopted before 1930; m. at Coventry, Orleans Co., on 7 August 1937 ROLAND J. W. ARCHAMBAULT.
