ARCHIE JAMES8 MAXFIELD was born at Newport, Orleans County, Vermont, on 22 July 1885 a son of Omar Maxfield and his wife Fannie Wetherell. He died at Barton, Orleans County, on 15 May 1967. He married at Irasburg, Orleans County, on 24 September 1913 ESTELLA MAY ROGERS. She was born at Coventry, Orleans County, on 22 April 1888, and died at Barton on 26 November 1984.

Archie Maxfield and his wife Estella Rogers had the following child:

  1. GERALDINE M.9 MAXFIELD b. at Vermont abt November 1914; d. bef 1984; m. at Salem, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 6 October 1936 CHARLES WILLIAMS.
