CLARA8 MAXFIELD (Hiram7, Minor6, probably Henry5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at West Virginia on August 1867 (1900 census), a child of Hiram C. and Margaret Maxfield. The 1900 census (1766:2:102) reported Clara Maxfield living with her father at Keyser, West Virginia. According to that record, Clara was divorced, however a later record indicated that she had not been married; Clara's daughter Pauline Maxfield, age 5, was with her.

Clara Maxfield married DANA RIDGWAY, about 1905/6. Dana was born at Virginia about 1851/2 (1910 census).

The 1910 census (1690:2:103A) reported this family at 305 North Water Street, Keyser, Mineral County, West Virginia:
