Frank Maxfield married ELLA HODGE about 1896/7 (1910 census). Ella was born at Michigan about 1879/80 (1910 census).

The 1910 census (642:1:266A) reported Frank and Ella Maxfield at Hickory Street, Fenton, Genesee County, Michigan. Frank, 34, was a laborer in a screw factory. Ella, 30, had no children. Ella's mother, Sarah Hodge, a 57 year old widow, lived with them. Frank and Ella had been married thirteen years.

When Frank Maxfield registered for the draft at Genesee County on 12 September 1918 (WWI Draft), he reported the following:
