BENJAMIN SYLVESTER⁸ MAXFIELD was born at Eau Galle, Dunn County, Wisconsin, on 12 July 1888 a son of Allen Maxfield and his wife Ida May Smith. He died at Jefferson County, Oregon, on 17 February 1969. He married before 29 July 1920 GRACE KNOTT. She was born at Wisconsin on 23 July 1892 and died at Crook County, Oregon, on 12 November 1990.

Benjamin Sylvester Maxfield and his wife Grace Knott had the following child:
