IRA HENRY8 MAXFIELD was born at Fair Haven, Rutland County, Vermont, on 11 January 1919 a son of Wiliam Henry Maxfield and his wife Margaret Elizabeth Hamlin. He died at Rutland, Rutland County, on 7 May 2000. He married at Fair Haven on 23 June 1943 MARY ANITA SMITH. She was born at Granville, Washington County, New York, on 28 March 1923 and died at Rutland on 19 March 1997.

Ira Henry Maxfield and his wife Mary Anita Smith had the following children:

  1. CLAUDIA JOAN9 MAXFIELD b. at Rutland on 13 December 1948; m. ________ STACEY.
  2. WILLIAM JOHN9 MAXFIELD b. at Rutland on 15 January 1958.
