JOHN ARTHUR9 MAXFIELD was born at Los Angeles County, California, on 28 December 1913 a son of John Arthur Maxfield and his first wife Mary Catherine Gridley. He died at Ventura County, California, on 1 July 1984. He married LUCILE R. SMITH. She was born at Oklahoma about 1915/6.

John Arthur Maxfield and his wife Lucile R. Smith had the following children:

  1. BARBARA JEANNE10 MAXFIELD b. at Los Angeles County on 1 January 1934; m. at Los Angeles County on 28 June 1952 WILLIAM ROBERT BLAIR.
  2. JOHN ARTHUR10 MAXFIELD Jr. b. at Los Angeles County on 16 June 1938.
