ROLAND CLYDE9 MAXFIELD was born at Barre, Washington County, Vermont, on 14 April 1927 a son of Harry Earl Maxfield and Leah Thompson. He married at Plainfield, Washington County, on 26 July 1947 EMILY GOODRICH BATCHELDER. She was born at Barre on 26 July 1929 and died at Williston, Chittenden County, Vermont, on 9 August 2011.

Roland Maxfield and his wife Emily Batchelder had the following child:

  1. BRENT ROLAND10 MAXFIELD b. at Barre on 11 November 1948.
