LOUIS EDGAR9 MAXFIELD was born at Tunbridge, Orange County, Vermont, on 22 May 1928 a son of Lesle Maxfield and his first wife Marguerite Dodge. He married at Hartland, Windsor County, Vermont, on 2 October 1949 MARGARET LOUISE MAYHEW. She was born at Claremont, Sullivan County, New Hampshire, on 27 June 1929 and died on 12 November 2002.

Louis Maxfield and his wife Margaret Mayhew had the following children:

  1. LOWELL E.10 MAXFIELD b. at Lebanon, Grafton Co., NH, on 17 February 1952; m. at Hartland on 26 May 1974 CAROL J. RICE.
  2. CECIL CHARLES10 MAXFIELD b. on 20 April 1954.
