EDWIN CULVER9 MAXFIELD (Franz8, Samuel7, Nathan6, probably Eliphalet5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at New York on 26 June 1902 (SSDI), a child of Franz Siegel Maxfield and his second wife Ann Culver. Edwin grew up in Potsdam, New York.
Edwin Maxfield married ELIZABETH CLOCKENBURG about 1927. She was born at Illinois on 9 July 1907 (SSDI; OH D). Her mother's maiden name was Gorman. The 1930 Census (1618:8B) found this family living on McKane Avenue, Niagara Falls, New York.

Edwin Culver Maxfield died at Cleveland, Ohiom on 25 November 1987 (OH D; SSDI). The death record indicated he was from "out of state," and his last address, according to the Social Security Administration, was Niagara Falls. Elizabeth (Clockenburg) Maxfield died at a long term care facility at Lakewood, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, on 1 November 2002 (SSDI; OH D).
