WARREN HATCH10 MAXFIELD (Gregg9, Warren8, Orren7, Albert6, Obadiah5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1 ) was born at Michigan about July 1926 (1930 Census), a child of Gregg William Maxfield and his wife Olive C. Hatch. Warren enlisted in the Army at Detroit, Michigan, on 5 March 1946 (WWII Enl). His enlistment record states that he was from Muskegon County, had completed four years of high school, and was single with no dependents.

Warren Gregg Maxfield married JOAN ROSALIND MARTIMER-MADDOX at Great Barrington, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, on 5 September 1953. The wedding announcement, as it appeared in the New York Times, adds additional information on this family (NY Times 6 Sep 1953):

Miss Joan Mortimer-Maddox Wed to Warren H. Maxfield in Great Barrington Church

Great Barrington, Mass., Sept. 5--Miss Joan Rosalind Mortimer-Maddox, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Richard Mortimer-Maddox, was married here this afternoon in St. James Protestant Episcopal Church to Warren Hatch Maxfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Maxfield of Muskegon, Mich.
The bride's father, who is rector of the church, performed the ceremony, which was followed by a small reception for the immediate families in the rectory.
Dr. Thomas Clark Pollock, dean of the Washington Square College of New York University, gave his niece in marriage. Her twin, Miss Anne Katherine Mortimer-Maddox, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were the Misses Mary Victoria Mortimer-Maddox, another sister; Miriam Manning of Great Barrington and Prudence Lobley of Montreal.
Douglas Maxfield of Towson, Md., was best man for his brother. Mrs. Maxfield attended the Kingswood School, Cranbrook, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Smith College. Last year she received a bachelor's degree from McGill University. She is a granddaughter of the late Rev. John Mortimer-Maddox of Bury, England.
Her husband was graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design where he is now a member of its faculty. He served with the Eleventh Airborn Division for two years in World War II. After Sept. 23, Mr. Maxfield and his bride will make their home in Providence, R. I.

Warren H. Maxfield and his wife Joan R. Mortimer-Maddox had the following child:
