ARTHUR JAMES10 MAXFIELD (James9-8-7, Daniel6, probably Daniel5-4, Ebenezer3, Samuel2, Clement1) was born at Barrington, Rhode Island, on 17 June 1888 (VR RI 1888:82), a child of James Maxfield and his wife Carrie Childs.

Arthur Maxfield married CHARLOTTE M. about 1911 (1930 census). She was born in Rhode Island on 22 December 1890 (SSDI).

The 1920 census (1670:8A) reported this family at 10 Coomer Avenue, Warren, Rhode Island:

The 1930 census (2168:8A) reported this family, consisting of the same four persons, at Love Lane, Barrington. Charlotte Turner, described as a foster daughter in this census, was working as a dental nurse for a dentist. Arthur was foreman for an oil burner company.

Arthur Maxfield died in June 1963, a resident of Rhode Island (SSDI). Charlotte Maxfield died in January 1976, a resident of Providence, Rhode Island (SSDI).

Arthur and Charlotte Maxfield had the following child:
