NATHANIEL DROWNE8 MAXFIELD (John7, perhaps Daniel6, probably Daniel5,4, Ebenezer3, Samuel2, Clement1) was born in Rhode Island in 1816 (DAR 104:36) or about 1814/5 (1850 Census). He was a child of John and Nancy Maxfield according to Nancy's father's will.

He was from Barrington, Rhode Island, she from North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Susan was born in 1816 (DAR 161:122) or about 1816/7 in Rhode Island (1850 Census).
