PASCHAL6 MAXFIELD (Obadiah5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Milton, Chittenden County, Vermont on 19 May 1808 a child of Obadiah Maxfield and his wife Eunice. He died at Delton, Sauk County, Wisconsin, on 8 October 1891.[1] Paschal Maxfield married POLLY ANGELL sometime before 1831 (birth of child). Polly was born at Sciota, Clinton County, New York on 29 July 1812, and died at Kilbourn, Sauk County, on 10 November 1888.[2]
Pashcal and Polly Maxfield moved west. Based on the birthplaces of their children, they were at New York in 1831, in Ohio in 1836, and in Michigan in 1843. They had settled in Polkton Township, Ottawa County, Michigan, by 1845.
The Paschal Maxfield family was reported at Polkton Township in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 censuses. In 1850 their first four children were at home;[3] in 1860 their last three children were at home.[4]
In 1870 this family had at their home a son, a married daughter, and three grandchildren as follows:[5]
