LINUS DORR6 MAXFIELD was born at Richfield Center, Richfield, Genesee County, Michigan, on 2 February 1859 a son of Varnis Maxfield and his wife Percey Irish. He died at Flint, Genesee County, on 5 February 1918. He married about 1875/6 LORINDA ANN MILLER. She was born at Uxbridge, Ontario, on 10 August 1858 and died at Green, Alpena County, Michigan, on 20 August 1917.

Linus Maxfield and his wife Lorinda Miller had the following children:

  1. LAVERNA PHIDELIA7 MAXFIELD b. at Richfield on 17 October 1877; d. at Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI, on 8 December 1927; m. at Alpena, Alpena Co., on 17 October 1893 JAMES SHAW.
  2. SYLVIA C.7 MAXFIELD b. at Genesee Co. on September 1879.
  3. JULIUS EARL7 MAXFIELD b. at Richfield on 25 December 1882; d. at Alpena on 18 June 1949; m. at Alpena on 4 September 1909 MARGARET JANE HARVEY.
