TRUMAN J.⁷ MAXFIELD was born at Pittsfield, New Hampshire, on 11 July 1861 a son of John H. Maxfield and his second wife Julia Ann Green. He died at Pittsfield on 16 October 1935. He married at Pittsfield on 8 October 1881 ELIZA FRANCES SMITH. She was born at Loudon, New Hampshire, on 25 August 1860 and died at Pittsfield on 28 June 1899.

Truman J. Maxfield and his wife Eliza Frances Smith had the following children:

5. AUGUSTA FRENCH⁸ MAXFIELD b. at Pittsfield on 19 June 1888; d. at Pittsfield on 8 January 1905.
