ELMER TRUMAN7 MAXFIELD was born at Hatley, Stanstead County, Quebec, on 27 September 1862 a son of Truman Maxfield and his wife Caroline Batchelder. He died at Outlook, Saskatchewan, on 29 May 1947. He married at Derby, Orleans County, Vermont, on 4 February 1885 PARAZEDA FRANCES CAIN. She was born at Illinois on 10 July 1870 and died at Battleford, Saskatchewan, on 3 March 1844.

Elmer Truman Maxfield and his wife Parazeda Cain had the following children:

  1. ROY LANGDON8 MAXFIELD b. at Hatley on 18 August 1886.
  2. GORDON RAY8 MAXFIELD b. at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, on 10 March 1888.
