TRUMAN7 MAXFIELD was born at Quebec, on 6 November 1848 a son of Barnet and Elvira Maxfield. He married before 1871 MALISSA McGAFFEY. She was born at Quebec on 6 June 1853.

Truman Maxfield and his wife Malissa McGaffey had the following children:

  1. HATTIE8 MAXFIELD b. at Stanstead, Stanstead Co., Quebec on 10 April 1874; d. at Newport, Orleans Co., VT, on 8 February 1962; m. EDGAR STICKNEY.
  2. ESTELLA8 MAXFIELD b. at Quebec on 2 October 1876; m. bef. 1901 BENJAMIN BAMISH.
  3. ORAL JOHN8 MAXFIELD b. at Stanstead on 15 January 1888.
