CLARENCE J.7 MAXFIELD was born at Potton, Brome County, Quebec, on 20 April 1856 a son of Davis Maxfield and his wife Eliza Laird. He died at Vermont on 28 February 1933. He married about 1875/6 LUCY ALICE DUDLEY. She was born at Aylers Cliff, Stanstead County, Quebec, on 11 September 1860 and died at Evansville, Orleans County, Vermont, on 13 November 1939.

Clarence Maxfield and his wife Lucy Dudley had the following children:

  1. EUNETTA FLORINDA MAXFIELD b. at Hatley, Stanstead Co., on 13 March 1879.
  2. LILLA BELLE MAXFIELD b. at North Hatley, Stanstead Co., on 7 July 1881; d. at Barton, Orleans Co., on 7 February 1967; m. at Brownington, Orleans Co., on 19 February 1903 GEORGE H. HUNT. x
