IRA HUNTOON7 MAXFIELD was born at Upper Gilmanton Parish, Gilmanton, Belknap County, New Hampshire, on 19 July 1857 a son of Daniel Maxfield and his wife Sarah Shaw. He died at Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, on 3 March 1944. He married first at Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, on 21 December 1879 SARAH ROBINSON. She was born at Manchester on 23 June 1861 and died at Concord on 4 June 1902. He married second at Manchester on 22 May 1915 IVA EUGENIA SMART. She was born at Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 1889 and died after 1944.

Ira Maxfield and his first wife Sarah Robinson had the following children:

  1. IDELLA MAUDE8 MAXFIELD b. at Belmont, Belknap Co., NH, on 28 February 1883; d. on August 1980; m. at Concord on 25 December 1905 GEORGE NELSON STANLEY.
  2. ELMER S.8 MAXFIELD b. at Belmont ast 1900; d. at Belmont bef 1903.

Ira Maxfield and his second wife Iva Smart had the following children:

  1. (no name) MAXFIELD b. and d. at Concord on 9 June 1924.
  2. FRANCES MAXFIELD b. at Concord on 4 October 1925.
