GEORGE ARTHUR MAXFIELD, D.D.S.^x MAXFIELD was born at Chicopee, Hampden County, Massachusetts, on 29 October 1848 a son of Arthur Maxfield and his wife Orissa Anderson. He died after 1910. He married first at Holyoke, Hampden County, on 26 April 1871 ELIZABETH R. BENNETT. She was born at South Scituate, Providence County, Rhode Island, about 1849/50 and died on 1882. He married second at Holyoke on 18 March 1885 MARTHA N. CURRIER. She was born at Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, on February 1856.

George Maxfield and his second wife Martha Currier had the following child:
