Pascal's name is often spelled Paschal. His wife's name is spelled Phidelia, Fedilia, and Phidia. Their daughter is Anne, Annette, or Annesett. The Pascal Maxfield family often had servants: Rachel Gregory in 1850, Susan Ryan in 1860, and two African American servants in 1880. Son Gilbert had left home by the 1860 census. The 1870 and 1880 censuses reported daughter Annette and her husband Samuel Ives in the household. Samuel in 1870 worked in a boot shop; in 1880 he was a steamboat proprietor.
Phidelia Maxfield died at Vergennes on 5 October 1833, from consumption (VT VR). Pascal Maxfield, then age 71, married 36 year old ANN E. KIMBALL at Vergennes on 14 Novwember 1884 (VT VR). Paschal Maxfield died at Vergennes on 28 Febroary 1889 from "softening of the brain" (VT VR). His widow Ann then married at Waterbury, Vermont, on 23 May 1889 LEWIS J. WHITE, who was born at Waterbury about 1840/1 (VT VR).
