SANFORD P.⁷ MAXFIELD was born at Crown Point, Essex County, New York, on July 1850 a son of Rimmon Maxfield and his wife Mary Potter. He died at Vermont on 5 March 1935. He married first at Elmore, Lamoille County, Vermont, on 23 December 1876 SOPHIE M. NOE. She was born at Sweetsburgh, Missisquoi County, Quebec, about 1860/1 and died before 1930. They divorced before 1897. He married second at Johnson, Lamoille County, on 6 March 1897 CLARA BOWEN. She was born at New Hampshire about 1869/70. They divorced before 1900. He married third at Morristown, Lamoille County, on 4 July 1904 ELVA M. (CLEVELAND) WHITNEY. She was born at Morristown about 1871/2 and died at Lancaster, Coos County, New Hampshire, on 13 April 1945. She had previously married ROBERT WHITNEY
