The 1870 census (1620:1:173A) recorded Edna Maxfield, age 18, a servant in the household of Stillman and Cordelia Pierce, of Fairfax, Vermont. Edna had a child in 1878.
Edna Maxfield married ROBERT A. CORRIGAN at Fletcher on 6 August 1893 (Fairfax Gen), when Edna was 39 and her daughter would have been 15, and Robert was about 22. Robert Corrigan was born at Canada about 1871 (1920 cenusus; 1872/3 in 1930 census).
Robert Corrigan, 48, and his wife Edna, 65, were living at Fairfax in the 1920 census (1872:9B). Robert was a dairy farmer. The household included two nieces, children of Edna's brother John, Grace, 26, and Hazel, 22.
Edna (Maxfield) Corrigan died at Fairfax on 30 December 1927 (Fairfax Gen).
The 1930 census (2428:) reported Robert A. Corrigan on the Fairfax-Fletcher Road, in Fairfax, engaged in farming, born in Canada, as were his parents. His niece by marriage, Hazel M. Maxfield, 32, another daughter of Edna's borhter John, was living with him.
