ABBIE C. BURR, daughter of Warren Burr and Eliza Emerson of Brewer, Maine, married Wentworth Maxfield on 9 October 1861 (NMGR 7:70). She was born at Brewer, Penobscot County, Maine, on May 1846 (1900 census; F).
The 1870 Census (554:1:221A) reported this Maxfield family at Milford, Penobscot County, Maine. Wentworth, age 32, had real estate of $800, a personal estate of $545, and was working on lumber. Abbie C. Maxfield was 25, and they had one child, Anna B. Maxfield, age 8, in school.

The 1900 Census (597:11B) reported Wentworth Maxfield, born June 1838, lumberman, and his wife, Abbie C. Maxfield, born May 1846, who had two children, one still living, resident at 240 Main Street, Bangor, Maine.
Wentworth Maxfield died at Bangor on 11 January 1906 (NMGR 7:70).
