GEORGE H.8 MAXFIELD was born at San Diego, California, on 30 July 1882 a son of George Lemuel Maxfield and his wife Clara Bergstrom. He died at Los Angeles County, California, on 29 July 1963. He married about 1907/8 BELLE EVANS. She was born at California on 4 June 1884 and died at Los Angeles County on 27 February 1968.

George H. Maxfield and his wife Belle Evans had the following children:

  1. MIRIAM EVANS9 MAXFIELD b. at Amador County, California on 2 July 1909; d. at Los Angeles County on 16 April 1988; m. at Los Angeles County on 24 June 1933 HOYT EDWARD CUSHMAN.
  2. (name not given)9 MAXFIELD b. at Los Angeles County on 14 November 1914; d. before 1920 (not in census).
  3. DONALD LEONARD9 MAXFIELD b. at Los Angeles County on 2 April 1919; d. at Lane County, Oregon, on 22 July 1996; m. at Los Angeles County on 26 March 1943 MARY SCHMIDT.
