HARRY WALTER8 MAXFIELD was born at Gilmanton, Belknap County, New Hampshire, on 2 August 1887 a son of Walter Maxfield and his first wife Lucia Scales. He died at Loudon, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, on 2 May 1972. He married at Penacook, Merrimack County, on 4 August 1906 HARRIET MAUDE HILL. She was born at Loudon on 10 July 1881 and died at Loudon on 26 February 1974.

Harry Walter Maxfield and his wife Harriet Hill had the following children:

  1. RALPH HALSTEAD9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 7 May 1907.
  2. WILBUR SCALES9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 19 June 1908.
  3. CHARLA ELLA9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 10 February 1910; d. on 10 September 1984; m. at Concord, Merrimack County, on 31 March 1934 GUY VINTON PIKE.
  4. FRANK LEON9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 11 August 1911.
  5. DOROTHY BELLE9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 9 January 1913; d. at Andover, Merrimack County, on 3 June 2000; m. at Sutton, Merrimack County, on 14 February 1931 ERVIN C. PATTEN.
  6. IRVING RONALD9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 22 July 1915; d. at Loudon on 21 June 1992.
  7. JOSEPH WILLIAM9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 20 April 1917.
  8. GOLDIE MAY9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 7 February 1919; d. at Concord on 5 January 1980; m. on 12 May 1940 LEON CHARLES PALMER.
  9. HARRY WALTER9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 8 October 1921.
  10. HORACE JOHN9 MAXFIELD b. at Loudon on 12 February 1925; d. at Loudon on 2 July 1944.
