RAYMOND ERNEST8 MAXFIELD was born at Newport, Orleans County, Vermont, on 24 May 1896, a son of Ernest Maxfield and his wife Margaret Trepania. He died at Newport on 14 January 1943. He married at Newport on 21 June 1916 MINA ANN SIMONS. She was born at Canada on 6 July 1895 and died at Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, on 8 March 1979.

Raymond Maxfield and his wife Mina Simons had the following children:

  1. WENDELL BAYER N.9 MAXFIELD b. at Newport on 7 November 1917; d. at Henderson, Clark Co., NV, on 30 January 2006.
  2. ELSIE MARGUERITE9 MAXFIELD b. at Newport on 28 February 1920; d. on 15 March 1999.
  3. EVELYN MINA9 MAXFIELD b. at Newport on 5 August 1922.
