CLARENCE ELWYN8 MAXFIELD was born at Londonderry, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 30 January 1888 a son of George Maxfield and his wife Sarah Burroughs. He died on April 1970. He married at Londonderry on 9 June 1909 ETHEL MAUD PLUMMER. She was born at Raymond, Rockingham County, about 1887.

Clarence Maxfield and his wife Ethel Plummer had the following children:

  1. MINA ANNIS9 MAXFIELD b. at Londonderry on 5 December 1909; d. at Londonderry on 8 July 1914.
  2. ROBERT WENDELL9 MAXFIELD b. at Londonderry on 10 March 1911.
  3. MABEL DORIS9 MAXFIELD b. at Londonderry on 14 December 1913; m. at Concord, Merrimack Co., NH, on 26 July 1936 CLIFTON CARR BARTLETT.
