ANDREW CLARK8 MAXFIELD was born at Wolcott, Lamoille County, Vermont, on 13 March 1893 a son of Daniel Maxfield and his wife Harriet Gould. He died on October 1965. He married at Piermont, Grafton County, New Hampshire, on 1 June 1913 ELLA MAY BOWKER. She was born at Piermont on 19 March 1896 and died at West Fairlee, Orange County, Vermont, on 10 December 1972.

Andrew Maxfield and his wife Ella Bowker had the following children:

  1. CLYDE ANDREW9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford, Orange Co. on 13 February 1915.
  2. FRANCIS EARLE9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford on 17 November 1916.
  3. HOWARD ALBERT9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford on 24 January 1919.
  4. NORMAN EVERETT9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford on 12 December 1920.
  5. ANNA MARIE9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford on 7 January 1925; m. at Thetford on 2 June 1943 CARL EDWARD HINES.
  6. ARLENE ISABELL9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford on 31 August 1927; d. at White River Junction, Windsor Co., VT, on 27 December 2008; m. at Thetford on 2 June 1943 PAUL RICHARD LUND.
  7. ELMER CLARK9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford on 15 February 1931.
  8. MELVIN GEORGE9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford on 15 September 1936.
  9. KENNETH RUSSELL9 MAXFIELD b. at Thetford on 2 February 1941.
