ELMER CLARK9 MAXFIELD was born at Thetford, Orange County, Vermont, on 15 February 1931, a son of Andrew Maxfield and his wife Ella Bowker. He married at Vershire, Orange County, on 20 August 1947 JACQUELENE BESSIE JUDD. She was born at Strafford, Orange County, on 25 August 1928, and died at Newport, Orleans County, Vermont, on 1 June 2008.

Elmer Maxfield and his wife Jacquelene Judd had the following children:

  1. CHRISTOPHER CLARK10 MAXFIELD b. at New Hampshire on 4 September 1947.
  2. JANET LUCILLE10 MAXFIELD b. at New Hampshire on 28 May 1952; m. at Norwich, Windsor County, Vermont, on 12 September 1992 JOSEPH D. MONFETTE.
  3. JAMES EDWARD10 MAXFIELD b. at Hanover, Grafton Co., NH, on 20 July 1955.
