CHARLOTTE 8 MAXFIELD (Lyman7, Gilbert6, William5, David4, probably Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Vermont about 1835 (1850, 1860 censuses) a child of Lyman Maxfield and his wife Sally Laflin.

Charlotte Maxfield appeared in the 1850 census with her parents (Franklin Co. 20,22) and in 1860 with her widowed mother (1321:355). I have no record of her after 1860, and no record of any marriage. Her child, Smith, appeared with her in the 1860 census.

Charlotte Maxfield had the following child:

  1. SMITH9 MAXFIELD
    • b. at Georgia, VT, on 11 January 1860 (VR Vt, VR Georgia 189)
