GEORGE AUGUSTUS8 MAXFIELD was born at Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, on August 1871 a son of Joel Maxfield and his wife Ellen Hoban. He died at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, on 17 February 1929. He married at Cuyahoga County on 1 November 1894 ANGELA GRAULTY. She was born at Cleveland on 27 May 1878 and died at Cleveland on 27 October 1948. They divorced before 1920.

George Maxfield and his wife Angela Graulty had the following children:

  1. LORETTA A.9 MAXFIELD Sister Monica, O. S. U. b. at Cleveland on 1 April 1895; d. at Cleveland on 5 February 1933.
  2. FLORENCE DOROTHY9 MAXFIELD "Norbert" b. at Cleveland on 10 February 1897; d. at Mayfield Heights, Cuyahoga Co., on 28 May 1986.
  3. GEORGE FRANCIS9 MAXFIELD b. at Cleveland on 17 November 1898; d. at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH, on 29 September 1961.
  4. MARY ANGELA9 MAXFIELD b. at Cleveland on 1 May 1901; d. at Cleveland on 30 October 1920.
