RICHARD8 MAXFIELD was born at Stafford County, Virginia, about 1873/4 a son of George Maxfield and his wife Edmonia Tolson. He married at Stafford County on 23 December 1900 HATTIE B. HEFLIN. She was born at Fauquier County, Virginia, about 1881/2. She later married GEORGE S. COPPAGE

Richard Maxfield and his wife Hattie Heflin had the following child:
