MIDY MALON8 MAXFIELD (Orvis7, Minor6, probably Henry5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Virginia on 10 June 1876 (WWI Draft stated 10 June 1877 but age of 42; 1900 census stated June 1876), a child of Orvis and Nancy J. Maxfield. His name here is taken from his draft registration; census takers variously called him "Milleton" "Middleton" and "Milton."

Midy Maxfield married ADA B. about 1898/9 (1910 census). Ada was born at Virginia on 3 December 1880 (SSDI).

The 1910 census reported this family at Occoquan District, Prince William County, Virginia:

The 1930 census (2456:5A-5B) reported the family down to three persons at Bacon Race, Occoquan Township, Prince William County. The family consisted of Middleton M. Maxfield, 53, farm laborer, wife Ader B. Maxfield, 49, and daughter Anita P. Maxfield, 16.

Ada Maxfield died on January 1974 (SSDI).
