Thomas Blaine Maxfield married ELNORA E. BRADY at Toulon on 29 December 1909 (NMGR 7:94). Elnora, the daughter of James C. and Rhoda Catharine (Ballentine) Brady, was born at Toulon on 1 April 1881 (Ca D; NMGR 7:94).

Thomas lived on a homestead at Wilson Creek, Grant County, Washington about 1908. He returned to Illinois to marry, and they returned to Wilson Creek. The 1910 census (1656:6B) reported Thomas and Elnora Maxfield, both age 29, at Wilson Creek Precinct, Grant County, Washington. He was a farmer.

Sometime between 1911 and 1915 they returned to Toulon. Thomas Maxfield registered for the draft at Stark County, Illinois, on 12 September 1918 (WWI Draft). He reported:

Elnora Maxfield died at home at Chochilla on 27 March 1950 (Ca D; Les Maxfield). Thomas Maxfield died at Mercy Hospital, Merced, Merced County on 3 April 1972 (Ca D; SSDI; Les Maxfield).
