BYRON SAMUEL8 MAXFIELD (Samuel7, Asa6, Nathan5, Nathaniel4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born in Exeter, Penobscot County, Maine (F), about 1859/60 (1870 Census) a child of Samuel Asa Maxfield and his first wife Frences Brackett.

ELIZABETH HALL married Byron S. Maxfield on 26 November 1894 (VR Me M). They were both of Bangor.

The 1900 Census (597:7A) reported this family at 510 Union Street, Bangor, Maine:

The 1910 Census (544:1:111A) reported this family at the same address. The family consisted of Byron S. Maxfield, 50, with his own income, Lizzie, wife, 38, Frank B., son, 15, Gladys E., daughter, 11, and Frances E., daughter, eight months.

In 1930 the census (836:) found the family still at 510 Union Street. At home at that time were Byron A., 70, Elizabeth H., 55, and daughter Frances E. Maxfield, who was teaching at a public school.
