EMMA J. TAPPER married Fred A. Maxfield, at Lynn on 8 June 1887 (VR Ma 379:310:235; 379:383:10):

Emma Tapper was born at Oxford, Connecticut in February 1868 (1900 census), to John and Maria Tapper (marriage record).

The 1900 census (645:9B) reported Fred A. Maxfield, born November 1866, leather salesman, and his wife Emma J. Maxfield, born February 1868, living at 25 Arthur Street, Lynn.

The 1910 Census (585:1:217A) reported the family at 35 Anthony Street, Lynn:
