DURWOOD ELDON8 MAXFIELD (M. L.7, Matthew6, Richard5, probably Benjamin4, Joseph3-2, John1) was born in Michigan on 1 October 1917 (SSDI), a child of M. L. Maxfield and his wife Ethel. Durwood was commonly called "Joe."

Durwood Maxfield married SADIE MARGARET COOPER on 28 February 1941 (Ferguson). Sadie was born on 6 June 1923 (MI D; SSDI).

Sadie Maxfield died at Canon City, Montcalm County, Michigan, on 31 December 1993 (MI D). Durwood Maxfield died on 12 August 1997 (SSDI).

Durwood and Sadie Maxfield had at least one child.
