GEORGE GRANVILLE8 MAXFIELD was born at Green, Alpena County, Michigan, on 12 June 1894 a son of Sylvia C. Maxfield. He died at Lima, Allen County, Ohio, on 27 March 1971. He married at Flint, Genesee County, Michigan, on 17 August 1920 LUCY ELIZABETH TANDY. She was born at Flint on 17 May 1899 and died at Ohio on 27 December 1996.

George Granville Maxfield and his wife Lucy Tandy had the following child:

  1. QUENTIN C.9 MAXFIELD b. at Michigan on 1922.
