CHARLES WILLIAM8 MAXFIELD, Jr. was born at Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, on 10 November 1914 a son of Charles William Maxfield, Sr., and his wife Martha Livingston. He died at San Diego County, California, on 5 February 1994. He married at Brattleboro, Windham County, Vermont, on 24 April 1939 SHIRLEY LOCKE EASTMAN. She was born at Hanover, Grafton County, New Hampshire, on 19 June 1920 and died at Springfield on 9 April 1986. They later divorced.

Charles William Maxfield, Jr., and his wife Shirley Eastman had the following children:

  1. BRUCE WILLIAM9 MAXFIELD b. at Springfield on 5 May 1940.
  2. DONNA LEE9 MAXFIELD m. ________ FOUNTAIN.
  3. MARIANN JEAN9 MAXFIELD m. ________ BEAUMIER.
