CHARLES WILLIAM7 MAXFIELD was born at Troy, Rensselaer County, New York, on 30 November 1884 a son of George O. Maxfield and his second wife Emma Alin. He married at Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, on 25 December 1912 MARTHA M. LIVINGSTON . She was born at Springfield on 17 June 1890 and died at San Diego County, California, on 22 March 1965.

Charles William Maxfield and his wife Martha Livingston had the following children:

  1. FLORENCE EDNA8 MAXFIELD b. at Springfield on 26 October 1913; m. DUDLEY KENDALL.
  2. CHARLES WILLIAM8 MAXFIELD, Jr. b. at Springfield on 10 November 1914.
  3. JAMES LIVINGSTON8 MAXFIELD b. at Springfield on 27 November 1915.
