ARTHUR T.8 MAXFIELD (Edward7, Julian6, Oliver5, Joshua4-3, Joseph2, John1) was born at Glens Falls, Warren County, New York, on 5 May 1908 (SSDI; VR NY), the child of Edward G. and Alice M. Maxfield.

Arthur Maxfield married ARLINE SICKLER about 1928 (1930 census). She was born at New York about 1912/3, came from Binghamton, New York, and died at Glens Falls on 1931 (Silverstein). According to his death record, Arthur was later married to PHYLLIS. (Question: Could there be some confusion here? Could daughter Phyllis have been mistakenly listed as spouse because she was next of kin?)

The 1930 census (1657:15A) reported this family at 73 Elizabeth Street, Hudson Falls village, Kingsbury Town, Washington County, New York.
