JOHN H.8 MAXFIELD was born at Plover, Portage County, Wisconsin, on 1 July 1915 a son of Julien Frank Maxfield and his wife Jennie Emma Hardaker. He died at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, on 22 July 2010. He first married on 15 August 1937 BARBARA MASON. She was born at Wisconsin on 1 September 1917 and died at Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, on 12 February 1968. He married second on 26 November 1971 NORMA J. SCHERER. She died at Madison on 1 August 2001.

John Maxfield and his first wife Barbara Mason had the following children:

  1. JACK M.9 MAXFIELD b. at Wisconsin abt. 1937/8; m. at Groton, New London Co., CT, on 1 September 1962 ROMONA MAE EVERDING.
  2. FREDERIC C.9 MAXFIELD m. KATHY ________.
  3. MARY9 MAXFIELD m. DEAN RONEY.
