MERRITT COOK8 MAXFIELD was born at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 7 June 1889 a son of John Maxfield and his wife Elizabeth Voller. He died on 14 March 1954. He married at Beverly, Essex County, on 9 November 1907 BERTHA E. DECATUR. She was born at Massachusetts about 1890.

Merritt Cook Maxfield and his wife Bertha Decatur had the following child:

  1. KATHERINE9 MAXFIELD b. at Massachusetts abt. 1911.
