JOHN ADAMS9 MAXFIELD was born at Ripon, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, on 16 May 1924 a son of John Adams Maxfield and his first wife Doris Seward. He died on 15 June 2000. He married at Pittsfield, New Hampshire, on 1 August 1942 GERTRUDE F. SWAIN. She was born at Pittsfield on 1 April 1923 and died on April 1980.

John Adams Maxfield and his wife Gertrude Swain had the following children:

  1. DORIS EDITH10 MAXFIELD m. DONALD G. WILLIAMS.
  2. HENRY E.10 MAXFIELD b. about 1951/2; d. at Alton Bay, New Hampshire, on 23 August 1969.
