ROBERT ERNEST9 MAXFIELD was born at Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, on 25 May 1925 a son of Ernest Payne Maxfield and his wife Florence McGuire. He married on 19 October 1946 DOROTHY JOLINE HACKMAN. She was born on 4 March 1926.

Robert Ernest Maxfield and his wife Dorothy Hackman had the following children:

  1. STEPHEN HACKMAN10 MAXFIELD b. on 20 October 1947.
  2. MICHAEL HACKMAN10 MAXFIELD b. on 20 October 1947.
  3. PATRICK HACKMAN10 MAXFIELD b. at Hicksville, Defiance County, Ohio, on 30 April 1955.
  4. JACK ROBERT10 MAXFIELD b. on 13 October 1964.
